School Mission: To be a loving community that spiritually and academically equips, challenges and inspires students to impact their world for Christ.

“Marion Adventist Christian School has shaped lives for the future.  Education is mixed with morals and life sustaining principals.”

“Tired of the unGodliness in the public school system?  Enroll your kids in the Marion Adventist Christian School where they will be taught Godly values to help them face what lies ahead–values that point them heavenward.?  Pastor Ronny Shelton

“I’ve been involved with the Marion Adventist Christian School for almost 50 years.  During that time, I’ve had children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren attend this school.  I’m so thankful that they had the opportunity to attend this school.”  Shelba Russell

We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, the Bible is our foundation and students learn through a whole child approach––nurturing their growth spiritually, academically, physically and socially.  We invite you to visit us and learn more about how this happens at our school.

We have gone to a four day school week format.  Our students have a slightly longer school day, 8am-4pm, which allows us to give them a longer weekend.  They attend Monday through Thursday, and have a long weekend from Friday through Sunday to enjoy family activities.  This has worked well for our families since it was implemented several years ago.

Marion
Memo
February 2026

January started with much warmer temps than last
year, much to everyone’s relief.
We had a much better experience with MAP growth
assessments this year—students were able to finish all tests
in one week, with only minor glitches from the program and
with impressive scores.
In addition to speaking several languages, Mrs. Negrea
is excellent at crocheting. She shared her talents with us
during art class, so over several lessons she taught students
and teacher the basics, and each made whatever inspired
them. It’s a lot of fun!
The teacher felt impressed to move up the parentteacher conferences one week, and it was a good thing that she did, because the last week of the month, winter came
back with a vengeance! After a heavy snowfall, school was
conducted remotely for 2 days, and in school for 2 days.
The last week was also National School Choice Week.
We celebrated choosing Marion School with prizes, activities,
and theme dress days. Because of the delay in starting due
to the remote learning days, theme dress days continued into
February.
Please consider our school for your child’s education
